Not Pani Puri, This Is The Yummy Street Food On Preity Zintas Mind

No matter where we travel or which fancy restaurant we eat at, street food always has a special place in our heart. We always fondly reminisce about that neighbourhood golgappe wale bhaiya serving us extra pani, or a chuski wala adding extra syrup to our gola. The moment we return to our locality, all these memories instantly make us smile and give birth to street food cravings. Preity Zinta too travelled down memory lane and ate a popular street food when she landed back in Mumbai after visiting Dharamshala for a trip. Can you guess what she ate? Take a look:

In the photo, we could see Preity Zinta enjoying a plate full of yummy Dahi Puri. She seemed to be eating it on the go while in the car. For the unversed, dahi puri is a popular street food made with puri or golgappe as the base. Fresh curd, potatoes and chana, tamarind and mint chutneys are added to this dish which is garnished with crunchy sev. The mouthwatering and refreshing street food is ideal for the summer months, which is why Preity Zinta┬ámade it a point to eat it upon her return. “First stop after landing back,” she wrote in the caption of the photo.
This is not the only time we have seen the foodie side of Preity Zinta. Recently, she visited her home town in Jubbal near Shimla in Himachal Pradesh where she enjoyed living in the midst of nature and farm life. Reliving her old memories in the town, she learnt how to use a traditional gas stove or chulha. “All the action revolves around the kitchen in pahadi homes. Here I’m trying to light the fire & bring the rarely used old school chulha to life,” she wrote in the caption. Take a look:
